60-minutes Google Meet Session
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Practical, structured, evidence-based. You learn how to be your own therapist.
In short
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, time-limited therapy that changes the thought, feeling and behaviour loops keeping a problem in place. Ami Thaker delivers CBT in 60-minute online sessions, usually across 8 to 20 sessions with practice between them.
CBT is a strong fit if
You do not need every one of these, and you do not need to be in crisis to start. If two or three feel familiar, counselling is likely to help.
- You want a structured approach with clear goals, not open-ended talking
- You prefer practical tools and homework you can apply between sessions
- You are dealing with anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, OCD patterns or low self-esteem
- You notice your thinking spirals and want to interrupt it
- You have a defined timeframe and want measurable progress
- Previous supportive counselling helped you feel heard but did not change the pattern
